π°The Grand Fund - Bridging the Gap for Grandfamilies π΄π΅π§πΌβ
Did you know that a staggering 60% of grandparents raising grandchildren, despite their immense dedication, find themselves above the poverty line and, consequently, ineligible for vital government financial assistance? This often leaves them in a challenging position, struggling to cover essential costs like childcare, mental health support, and even extracurricular activities like sports for their grandchildren.
β
This is where The Grand Fund steps in, a beacon of hope dedicated to bridging this critical gap. We are thrilled to share that The Grand Fund has already made a profound impact, helping 115 families with over $70,000 in crucial support!
β
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to ensure that grandfamilies across the country have the resources they need to thrive. We believe every child deserves a joyful and stable upbringing, and every grandparent deserves the peace of mind that comes with being able to provide it.
β
Here are just a few heartwarming examples of how The Grand Fund is making a difference:
* A grandmother in Romeo, MI was able to purchase much-needed school clothes for her grandchildren, ensuring they walked into their first day back with confidence and pride.
* A great-grandmother in Pontiac, MI welcomed her great-grandson into the world, fully equipped with essential baby supplies, thanks to The Grand Fund.
* 25 children in Atlanta, GA started the school year on the right foot, each receiving new backpacks and school supplies, ready to learn and grow.
* The Rodriguez family in Pontiac, MI received a much-needed washer, lifting a huge daily burden and making their lives a little easier.
* A grandfamily food distribution center in Huntsville, Alabama was able to purchase vital supplies, enabling them to continue helping their neighbors in need.
β
The Grand Fund proudly collaborates with non-profits and local organizations across the country, creating a network of support that assists those in need of shelter, clothing, food, and educational opportunities.
