Tuesday, April 15- Episode 56: Why Every Homeowner Needs A Living Trust
I hope you know that all of my guests are, selfishly, people that I have an interest in meeting because I know they have something to teach me that I need to learn. I figure if I want to know, chances are, you probably will too. This week's guest is a gentleman that I contacted because I wanted to know why, as a homeowner, I needed a living trust. Honestly, I didn't even know what it was until I came across his bio, which reads: "Did you know that 68% of Americans don’t have a valid will or estate plan? For homeowners, this means their loved ones could face the harsh reality of lengthy, expensive probate processes, often losing up to 8% of the estate’s value in fees." Smart man. That caught my attention, and I hope it catches yours because you need to hear what Oscar Vasquez has to say. As grandparents raising grandchildren, we are all about providing a great legacy for the grandchildren we're raising. Oscar is going to share why having a living trust, if you're a homeowner, can save time, money, and stress—ensuring your legacy is passed down without complications. Stay tuned!
Tuesday, April 22- Episode 57: What Everyone Ought to Know About Dyslexia

If this resonates with you, don't miss our upcoming episode featuring Griselda Provencio, the founder of the Dyslexia Institute of America and leader of Dyslexia Warriors: Moms Igniting Potential. Discover how Griselda's personal journey of uncovering her own dyslexia later in life has transformed her mission to empower children and parents alike. Tune in for lots of insights and inspiration!
Tuesday, April 29- Episode 58: Crafting a Legacy- The Power of Words and Storytelling
His bio caught my eye immediately: "A Renaissance Man in an age that intrigues and enlightens, charms and catalyzes change for every reader." This unique spirit, known for "living life to the fullest while signing books on top of volcanoes and horses," led me down a fascinating path of discovery.
On visiting his website, I unearthed the treasure trove that is *The Legacy Letters* — rediscovered private letters from a dying father to his children and wife, offering a passionate and powerful guidebook to life. The narrative that truly hooked me? Proceeds from his "First-Ever Book Signing while Stomping Grapes" going to the Seattle Children’s Hospital.
This is a man I knew I had to meet. His zest for life is only matched by his extraordinary writing skill. You will fall in love, just as I did, and leave with a deeper understanding of the great passion we, as grandparents, have for leaving a meaningful legacy for our grandchildren.
Join us for an episode that promises to expand your heart and mind!

Joyful Updates
We’re going places! Our podcast has reached some milestones since we launched in June and more…

Despite finding myself in the midst of life's unpredictable storms—most notably, the tragic passing of my stepfather and its impact especially on my mother who is in the early stages of dementia—I've been reminded of the resilience that peace can provide. In the flurry of managing funeral arrangements, coordinating medical care, supporting my mother's grief, and juggling the buying process of a new home remotely, I felt like I was battling chaos from every angle. Yet, throughout this whirlwind, I've discovered a newfound centeredness. It's as if God is whispering to me with gentle humor, "Stay focused on me; all will be well." The eye of this storm has taught me that peace is a choice available amidst turbulence.
As I navigate the complexities of two families, special needs children at home, and monumental life changes, I am uplifted by the calm assurance that solid ground is just around the corner. Like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, I know I'll soon say, "We're not in Kansas anymore," while finding comfort and new beginnings. I draw inspiration from this steady peace and extend my heartfelt prayers for tranquility to all of you, no matter what storms you might be weathering in your lives. Remember, peace is a gift we can always choose.
Best,
