A New Chapter Begins: Two Voices, One Mission!
This week, the podcast embarks on an incredible new journey, and we are so excited to share it with you. We are thrilled to officially announce that Laura is partnering with Craig Nash of "It's a Grand Life" to create a new, combined podcast with one clear, shared purpose: to be a light in the darkness and provide tangible support to grandparents raising grandchildren in need.
In this week's special episode, "Two Voices, One Mission: A New Vision for Supporting Grandfamilies," you'll hear the full story and the heart behind this merger. Our mission is to empower you by providing both practical wisdom and, for the first time, tangible financial support.
To do this, we're restructuring the show around three key pillars:
- 🎙️ Co-hosted Conversations: Authentic, inspiring talks between Laura and Craig, sharing the real-life ups and downs of this journey.
- 🧠 Expert Interviews: Continuing to bring you the best resources and advice from leading experts to fill your toolbox.
- ❤️ Impact Stories: In a very exciting new development, we will be sharing the powerful stories of families who have been directly helped by "The Grand Fund." Laura will be helping Craig and his team provide this support, and we'll bring these stories of hope and transformation directly to you.

An Exciting Partnership to Better Serve Our Community! 🙏
We have some truly joyful news to share with you all this week! As you heard in the Podcast Spotlight, we are officially partnering with Craig Nash and his incredible organization, "It's a Grand Life!" Over the next few months, our podcasts and missions will be merging to create something even more powerful for this community we all care so much about.
This partnership is a natural fit because our hearts are in the same place. The mission of both of our podcasts is to empower Grandparents raising their Grandchildren by providing financial assistance, access to subject matter experts, and connection to community resources as they navigate this next chapter in their lives.
A huge part of the mission for "A Grand Life" is The Grand Fund, a 501c3 non-profit launched in June 2024. This fund provides direct financial assistance to Grand Families and Kinship Caregivers for essential needs like shelter, food, clothing, and education.
The impact is already astounding. Through his work, Craig has launched 110 podcasts, assisted 115 families, and raised over $70,000! The Grand Fund is currently supporting families in Michigan with plans for expansion, and we are so honored to be a part of helping that vision grow.
