I am thrilled to share some exciting updates about our non-profit organization, which is experiencing remarkable growth! We recently received our first donation, a generous contribution that has enabled us to acquire better equipment for higher quality broadcasts. This support not only enhances our capabilities but also allows us to reach our audience more effectively.
As we continue on this journey, I’m excited to announce that we’ve surpassed 1,000 downloads of our content, and engagement is on a steady rise! Our day-to-day downloads are climbing at a consistent rate which is a testament to the positive impact we are making within our community. It’s clear that our efforts are resonating, as we work to raise awareness and provide better support and care for grandchildren being raised by their grandparents.
In line with this mission, I am currently writing my first storybook specifically for grandparents raising grandchildren. The book aims to engage young readers and offer enriching stories that foster connection and understanding during these special moments. It has been such a joy to create this book, and I’ve been able to tap into my artistic side while working on the illustrations. This creative process has not only been fulfilling but has also allowed me to express my passion for storytelling.
I’m also excited to share that I am developing a lateral mentoring program here in the Flathead Valley. This program will empower kinship caregivers by fostering connections and encouraging shared experiences. Additionally, I continue to serve as the Peer-to-Peer Coordinator for Flathead County’s kinship caregivers, collaborating with Montana State University to ensure that we are providing the best possible resources and support.
Furthermore, I am in the process of organizing my first TEDx talk with a coach on the East Coast, which is an amazing opportunity to spread our message even further. We welcome donations and support for this challenging endeavor. I am eager to share the stories and experiences of our community and the importance of supporting grandparents raising grandchildren with the world.
As I reflect on our growth and the strides we have made, it becomes increasingly evident that together, we are making a difference. The support we receive and the connections we foster are paving the way for a brighter future for the grandchildren and caregivers we serve. Thank you for being part of this journey, and I look forward to sharing more updates as we continue to grow and evolve!
